This policy explains how Big Sky Development Enterprises, Inc., doing business as O’Haire Inn and Sip ’n Dip Lounge (“we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information submitted through the Sip ’n Dip Mermaid Reunion website.
Information we collect
When you register, we collect your name, aquatic name, email address, phone number, dates connected with the Sip ’n Dip, shirt size, reunion memories, and any optional photo you choose to upload. We may also process limited technical information needed to prevent abuse and operate the website securely.
How we use it
We use registration information to coordinate the reunion, contact you with event updates, prepare attendance and shirt counts, respond to requests, and protect the website. We do not sell registration information or use it for targeted advertising.
Photos and stories
Uploaded photos and stories remain private unless you select the separate optional publication permission. If you opt in, we may use your submitted materials on the reunion website, social media, in the Mermaid Archive, and in future print or digital historical publications. You may register without granting this permission. You may withdraw permission for future uses by contacting us, but material already printed, published, or distributed may not be retractable.
Service providers
We use website hosting, database, and file-storage providers to operate this site. They may process information only as needed to provide those services and protect the site.
Retention and your choices
We keep personal registration and contact information for one year after the July 17, 2027 reunion, then delete or anonymize it unless a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve a specific request. Photos and stories covered by optional publication permission may be retained for at least 10 years as part of the historical archive. You may ask to access, correct, or delete your registration information, or withdraw permission for future public use, by contacting us.
Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect registration information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
This registration site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
